Linkedin informational meeting for Ukrainian candidates

On 11 June 2024, Ukrainian Professional Support Centre, together with LinkedIn Nordics, held an information event and coaching session for Ukrainian talents looking for work in Sweden.   

LinkedIn is the world’s number one network for expanding your professional network, building your professional reputation and finding a job in the corporate sector. This event consisted of two parts: the lecture and the 1:1 sessions. During the first part, Anna Kalashnikova, Account Director of Linkedin Nordic, explained how to improve the Linkedin profile and increase the personal network of professional contacts.   

”Every minute, six people get a job thanks to Linkedin. And 50% of vacancies are ’closed’ through a personal network of contacts, including the Linkedin network,” Anna pointed out.   Anna also told attendees how to fill out their page correctly and effectively build their network of contacts, how to open their profile to recruiters and what to share on the page to increase engagement.  

During the lecture part, which was held online, we were joined by 65 Ukrainians from different cities in Sweden and around the world. In addition, 30 Ukrainians attended the event in person at the Linkedin Nordic office and participated in one-on-one coaching sessions with the company’s experts. All participants will also receive one year of premium access to LinkedIn.
