Your responsibilities will depend on the role and may include:
Engineering & Design:
- Developing technical documentation and blueprints.
- Conducting calculations and selecting materials and technologies.
- Assessing the condition of existing roads and designing reconstruction solutions.
Construction Work:
- Performing earthworks, concrete, and asphalt paving.
- Laying road surfaces and installing curbs.
- Installing drainage systems, bridges, and tunnels.
Machinery & Technical Operations:
- Operating and maintaining construction machinery (excavators, rollers, asphalt pavers).
- Measuring and controlling road surface smoothness.
Supervision & Management:
- Coordinating construction crews.
- Ensuring work quality and compliance with technical standards.
- Maintaining safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
– proficiency in English or Swedish at a level sufficient for work;
– minimum of 3 years of experience in road construction (any relevant position).
