IBM networking event

On 16 May 2024, Ukrainian Professional Support Center together with the tech giant IBM held a networking event – a coaching session for Ukrainian talents looking for work in Swedish tech and consulting companies. During the event, 24 Ukrainian candidates had the opportunity to have quick interviews with 13 IBM representatives, as well as learn about new courses and educational opportunities presented on the SkillsBuild platform. This is the third event we have organized with IBM, having previously held networking events in Stockholm and Malmö.
As Vahid Zohali, CEO of IBM in Sweden, said at the beginning of the event, ”When you meet people from outside coming in to collaborate – sit down and talk about things that are very important and we are doing it not only for you, but we are also doing it for ourselves.”
As a result of the event, Ukrainian candidates broadened their network as well as received advice on the Swedish labour market and career paths:
